The art in the courtyard

Les Abattoirs Courtyard and the Raymond VI Garden hosted a remarkable collection of sixteen works, extending the museum's rooms dedicated to both modern and contemporary art. Sending in front of the parvis, the visitor is welcomed by Fernand Léger's monumental bas-relief "Les femmes au perroquet", whose ensemble is important with mosaics and sculptures marking the course of the museum. The sculpture park has gradually been enriched since 2000, Franck Scurti and Franz West, also integrating the garden that leads to the belvedere overlooking the Garonne.
