This page describes the legal conditions that apply to any Internet user visiting the Abattoirs’ site. By consulting this site, each Internet user acknowledges having read the present legal notice and undertakes to respect it.

Nature of the information
Les Abattoirs makes every effort to ensure the availability, accuracy and updating of the information published on its site, the content of which it reserves the right to correct at any time and without notice. However, Les Abattoirs cannot guarantee the availability, accuracy, updating or exhaustiveness of the information thus made available. Each Internet user fully assumes the risks related to the credit he/she gives to this information and acknowledges that he/she uses this information under his/her exclusive responsibility.

Damage and viruses
It is the responsibility of the user of the Abattoirs’ site to take the necessary precautions to avoid any contamination of the site, or of the sites of partners to which the Abattoirs’ site refers, by one or more "viruses".

For its part, Les Abattoirs declines all responsibility for any damage, direct or indirect, whatever the cause, origin, nature or consequences, including any deterioration or virus that may infect the user's computer equipment or any other property.

Intellectual property
All elements making up the site (general structure, software, texts, images, animated or not, sounds, know-how, etc.), unless otherwise stated, are the property of Les Abattoirs or its partners and are subject to the laws protecting copyright. No licence, nor any other right than that of consulting the site, is granted to anyone with regard to intellectual property rights. The reproduction of documents on the site is authorised for information purposes only and for strictly personal and private use. Any reproduction and any use of copies made for other purposes and in another context are expressly prohibited and would constitute an infringement punishable by articles L. 335-2 and of the Intellectual Property Code. The same applies to the databases on this site, which are protected by the provisions of the law of 1 July 1998 transposing the European directive of 11 March 1996 on the legal protection of databases into the Intellectual Property Code.

Unless otherwise stated, the company names, logos, products and brands mentioned on this site are the property of Les Abattoirs or its partners. Their total or partial reproduction from the elements of the site without the express authorisation of the site operator is therefore prohibited, within Article L. 713-2 of the Intellectual Property Code.

Nominative information and other information
The Abattoirs’ site may ask Internet users to identify themselves and leave their e-mail or postal address via forms for the purposes of registration, sending documentation, subscribing to a newsletter, communication or satisfaction surveys. All the data collected is kept in a directory reserved for Abattoirs’ staff.

In accordance with article 34 of law n°78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms, Internet users have the right to access, modify, rectify and delete data concerning them, as well as the right to oppose commercial prospecting.

As the Abattoirs’ site is not intended to receive information of a confidential nature, with the exception of the personal data referred to above, any information that Internet users communicate to it cannot be considered as confidential, regardless of its form - document, data, graphic, image, question, suggestion, concept, remark or other. The simple transmission of information on the Abattoirs’ site therefore confers on the Abattoirs the right to use, reproduce, distribute, modify or transmit it in order to process the user's request.

Users of the Abattoirs’ site are required to comply with the provisions of the law relating to information technology, files and freedoms, the violation of which is liable to criminal sanctions. In particular, they must refrain, with regard to the personal information they access, from any collection, any misuse and, in general, from any act likely to infringe on the private life or reputation of individuals. In the same way, the user of the site recognises and agrees to provide the Abattoirs only with the information necessary for the processing of his request, to the exclusion of any outrageous, racist or pejorative information or remarks.

Hypertext links
Les Abattoirs cannot be held responsible for access by users via the hypertext links set up within the framework of its site to other resources present on the Internet network. Les Abattoirs therefore formally declines all responsibility for the content of other sites to which it offers links, which are only proposed to users of the site as a service. The decision to activate the links is thus exclusively up to the users.

Users and visitors to the Abattoirs’ site may not set up a hyperlink to this site without the express prior authorisation of the site operator.

Management of personal data.
The Customer is informed of the regulations concerning marketing communication, the law of 21 June 2014 for confidence in the Digital Economy, the Data Protection Act of 6 August 2004 as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD: n° 2016-679).

Persons responsible for the collection of personal data
For the Personal Data collected in the context of the creation of the User's personal account and browsing on the Site, the person responsible for processing the Personal Data is: Les Abattoirs, Musée Frac Occitanie. www.lesabattoirs.org is represented by Annabelle Ténèze, its legal representative

As the person responsible for processing the data it collects, www.lesabattoirs.org undertakes to respect the legal provisions in force. In particular, it is the Client's responsibility to establish the purposes of its data processing, to provide its prospects and clients, from the collection of their consents, with complete information on the processing of their personal data and to maintain a register of the processing in accordance with the reality. Whenever www.lesabattoirs.org processes Personal Data, www.lesabattoirs.org takes all reasonable steps to ensure that the Personal Data is accurate and relevant to the purposes for which www.lesabattoirs.org processes it.

Purpose of the data collected
www.lesabattoirs.org is likely to process all or part of the data:
- to enable browsing on the Site and the management and traceability of the services ordered by the user: connection data and use of the Site, billing, order history, etc.

Right of access, rectification and opposition

the right to define the fate of Users' data after their death and to choose to whom www.lesabattoirs.org shall communicate (or not) their data to a third party that they have previously designated.
As soon as www.lesabattoirs.org becomes aware of the death of a User and in the absence of instructions from him/her, www.lesabattoirs.org undertakes to destroy his/her data, except if its conservation is necessary for evidential purposes or to meet a legal obligation.

If the User wishes to know how www.lesabattoirs.org uses his or her Personal Data, to ask for them to be rectified or to oppose their processing, the User may contact www.lesabattoirs.org in writing at the following address :

 In this case, the User must indicate the Personal Data that he/she would like www.lesabattoirs.org to correct, update or delete, identifying him/herself precisely with a copy of an identity document (identity card or passport).

Requests for the deletion of Personal Data will be subject to the obligations imposed on www.lesabattoirs.org by law, in particular with regard to the conservation or archiving of documents. Finally, Users of www.lesabattoirs.org may file a complaint with the supervisory authorities, and in particular with the CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes).

Non-communication of personal data
www.lesabattoirs.org will not process, host or transfer the Information collected on its Clients to a country located outside the European Union or recognised as "non-adequate" by the European Commission without informing the client in advance. However, www.lesabattoirs.org remains free to choose its technical and commercial subcontractors provided that they present sufficient guarantees with regard to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD: n° 2016-679).

www.lesabattoirs.org undertakes to take all necessary precautions to preserve the security of the Information and in particular that it is not communicated to unauthorised persons. However, if an incident impacting the integrity or confidentiality of the Customer's Information is brought to the attention of www.lesabattoirs.org , the latter shall inform the Customer as soon as possible and communicate the corrective measures taken. Furthermore, www.lesabattoirs.org does not collect any "sensitive data".

The User's Personal Data may be processed by subsidiaries of www.lesabattoirs.org and subcontractors (service providers), exclusively in order to achieve the purposes of this policy.

Within the limits of their respective attributions and for the purposes mentioned above, the main persons likely to have access to Users' data are mainly our customer service agents.

Warning on information of a forecast nature
The Abattoirs’ site may contain certain non-historical data constituting statements of a forward-looking nature, and in particular forward-looking statements concerning future events, plans or objectives.
