Designed as a space for creation, sharing and reflection, the Sapphixxx festival offers an ambitious and multifaceted programme, at the crossroads of artistic disciplines and contemporary forms of expression.

Over two days, the festival will take over the Daniel Cordier Esplanade, the auditorium and the Galerie des publics at Les Abattoirs with a diverse range of events: live shows, performances, cabaret, DJ sets, concerts, film screenings, round-table discussions, an exhibition, and a market featuring local artists. This diversity of formats reflects a strong commitment: to break down barriers between artistic practices and foster encounters between audiences, works and artists.

Sapphixxx is part of a political and cultural initiative to raise the profile of marginalised cultures. By placing queer, racialised, precarious or marginalised artists at the centre, the festival aims to provide a platform for voices that are still under-represented. It also seeks to be a space for knowledge-sharing, dialogue and networking, where artistic practices, collective reflections and sensory experiences intersect.
