Cinélatino

Created in 1989, the Cinélatino festival, Rencontres de Toulouse, has established itself over the years as the essential European meeting place for Latin American films and authors.

Three short films by João Paulo Miranda Maria are presented for this 34th edition of Cinélatino, as part of the Jeudis des Abattoirs. The screening will be followed by a meeting with the director.

These short films flush out the fragility of the characters, forgotten inhabitants in the time and space of modern society to "capture the epiphany of an ordinary life condition". (Testimony of João Paulo Miranda Maria, Revue Cinémas d'Amérique latine n°30)
