Declared in December 2000 by a resolution of the United Nations World Refugee Day is celebrated around the world on 20 June each year.

World Refugee Day is an opportunity to pay tribute to people who have had to flee everything, to salute their strength, resilience and courage to rebuild their lives in safety.

Formed in 2017, the "Collectif 20 juin Toulouse" is back this year for the 7th edition of World Refugee Day!
Like every year, this festive and symbolic event aims to promote a dignified, warm and benevolent welcome for everyone who comes from elsewhere.

In the face of often negative and erroneous visions, the aim is to change the way people look at things, to overcome prejudice and encourage encounters.

All afternoon, entertainment and cultural sharing with the associations of the "Collectif 20 juin Toulouse".

Auditorium: Screenings of 3 fragments of the documentary "La Spirale" by Neus Viala, 2023:
The imprisonment of immigrants, justice and politics, living together.

2.30pm: "Vagabundo:
A show of animated objects by the company A reski with the support of the associationMarionnettissimo. "Vagabundo" tells the story of the ties that bind us to others.

16:00-17:30: DJ Set du Monde:
A selection of dance music from here and elsewhere, thrown on the decks by DJ Th%C3%A9o.
