Flash Pop!

Through the work of some fifteen artists, the exhibition aims to explore the importance of colour in today's art, an inexhaustible reservoir of sensations and research for artists.

Today, colour is used in all forms of creation. How do contemporary artists explore the infinite possibilities of colour? This is the question posed by the exhibition. An ode to colour in some fifteen works. Alongside historical figures such as Matta, Gérard Fromanger, Jacques Monory and Karel Appel, a dozen contemporary artists brilliantly explore the art of capturing colour.

This exhibition is based on a selection of works from the collection of the Abattoirs, Frac-Musée de Toulouse:
Karel Appel, Vincent Bioulès, Gaël Bonnefon, Luo Dan, Bernard Faucon, Richard Fauguet, Gérard Fromanger, Simon Girault-Têtevide, Yohann Gozard, Philippe Hortala, Fabrice Hyber, Marie Losier, Matta, Jacques Monory, Maya Rochat, Alain Séchas.

RELATED ACTIONS

As a counterpoint to the exhibition, the artist Laura Baïlé will offer a group "stop-motion" workshop on the theme of colour (dates to be defined).

Mediation activities (guided tours, meetings, workshops) will also be offered to the public.

During the February and spring holidays, we invite you to share a time of discovery around the exhibition. On the programme: a visit at the level of a child, a workshop and a tasty snack!
