À l’atelier
Daniel Chust Peters
This exhibition is part of the Gestes, Art et Savoir-faire en Occitanie programme, which includes several exhibitions, residencies and artistic initiatives in the region from 2025 to 2027. The Gestures programme explores the work of artist-craftspeople who are reinventing the relationship between craftsmanship and materials, with a renewed awareness of our relationship with ecosystems and an aspiration for a radical change in the model of society.
A place of experimentation and production, both intimate and social, the artist's studio fascinates and is inseparable from creation.
Artist Daniel Chust Peters, whose studio is located in Barcelona, has been invited to present a unique proposal. By regularly reproducing his workspace, on different scales and using multiple techniques, Chust Peters questions the link between this space and the creation of a work of art.
This proposal enters into dialogue with a selection of works from the collection of Les Abattoirs, Musée - Frac Occitanie Toulouse, which offers a variety of perspectives on the artistic workspace.
