As part of its ‘hors les murs’ season, the Cinémathèque de Toulouse will be showing a film once a month to echo the current exhibition at Les Abattoirs, Musée - Frac Occitanie Toulouse. In March and April 2025, Basquiat, un adolescent à New York by Sara Driver and En corps by Cédric Klapisch (in his presence) will be the two films that resonate with ‘Le Musée imaginaire d'Oli’.

Injured during a show, Élise learns that she will no longer be able to dance. From then on, her life is turned upside down, and Élise has to learn how to repair herself... Between Paris and Brittany, through disappointments and hopes, the story of a reconstruction through dance. And where we might have feared an excess of youthful sentiment, Cédric Klapisch strikes just the right tone, certainly because of the degree of truth conveyed by dancer Marion Barbeau, but also thanks to the fluidity of his direction. A film that's good for the body and the mind!

Screening presented by Cédric Klapisch
