Le Ballet du Capitole s’invite aux Abattoirs
As part of the performances of Toiles Étoiles at the Théâtre du Capitole, Les Abattoirs, Musée - Frac Occitanie is continuing events around this programme devoted to Picasso and Dance., with this thursday a "Carnet de danse", a demonstration by the dancers of the Ballet du Capitole commented by the artists of this production.
Fifteen days after Cécile Godefroy's conference and "Osons danser!", it is the turn of the Carnet de danse to take over the Salle Picasso at Les Abattoirs. This demonstration by the dancers of the Ballet du Capitole will be commented by the artists associated with this production: Kader Belarbi, the director of dance of the Ballet du Capitole, and the choreographers Antonio Najarro, Honji Wang, Sébastien Ramirez and Cayetano Soto. The composer and flamenco guitarist José Luis Montón and his three musical companions from Cuadro Flamenco will be added: the cantaora María Mezcle, the violinist Thomas Potiron and the flamenco percussionist Odei Lizaso. The dancers will also talk about their experiences and feelings in working with these choreographers.
