Last year, Les Abattoirs acquired 9 works derived from the 40 Portraits and Through their Tears series. On the occasion of the presentation in early April of the play Jerk at the Théâtre Garonne, Les Abattoirs are presenting a series of photographs and a film by the artist that encourages the audience to go beyond appearances and follow the theme of a world on the brink of collapse. The new presentation of the Daniel Cordier collection draws on works that echo the landscape experience, even when, pure abstractions or simple forms, they are not a direct representation. To go from "terres à terres" is to explore the continents of art as Daniel Cordier has tried in his research and purchases of works. Read more

This exhibition, originally planned at La Fabrique on the university site, was made inaccessible by social protest movements leading to the total blockage of the university. As a result, a new proposal for the exhibition, in a new light, is presented to the Abattoirs. Read more

Médiathèque des Abattoirs
LabBooks is a research program that aims to broaden the notion of writing to all dimensions of editorial practice. The exhibition aims to both re-enact the work carried out in 2016-2017 by students from isdaT participating in this research project and to set up a context and tools to pursue and deepen it.
